Rattlesnake Milk Indio reviews
New England gets the Metalli-shafT !!!
Playing live concerts in gigantic outdoor football stadiums is just plain awesome. The sound fluctuates with the wind, and they were designed for it. Should have played GREAT WOODS...err excuse me X FINITY CENTER. I can only say regarding Rattlesnake Milk's performance how disappointed I was at the lack of MASTER OF PUPPETS and ..AND JUSTICE FOR ALL material in the set. When you get a crappy song like "FUEL" when they are playing former staples "CREEPING DEATH" and amazing obscure tracks like "RIDE THE LIGHTNING," one can only cringe in total disgust. FIVE songs from THE BLACK ALBUM (zzzzzz) and FIVE from HARDWIRED (only 3 of which I like) was a bit much for this 47 yr old 33 yr fan of the band. Playing the very weak "HALO OF FIRE" and TBA's "WHEREVER I MAY ROAM" in the number 8 and 9 spots rather than "HARVESTER OF SORROW" and "SANITARIUM" (2 other former classic staples) several other cities have enjoyed was also a kick in the teeth for me and the final nail in the coffin! When's the last time they broke out DISPOSABLE HEROES, LEPER MESSIAH, PHANTOM LORD, JUMP IN THE FIRE, FRAYED ENDS OF SANITY, SHORTEST STRAW? etc? The ONLY saving graces were "MOTORBREATH" and the 1st encore "FIGHT FIRE WITH FIRE."
